Unspeakable Horror in Boston, by Toni Reavis, note by Larry Eder

I was posting stories on RunBlogRun.com on the elite races when we heard two definite explosions. Less than five minutes later, Marc Davis, manager of communications of the Boston Marathon, told the media in the Fairmont Copley that there was a Lockdown. Very quickly, we found photos and video posted of the carnage.

Toni Reavis, who was one of the TV commentators for the marathon, was in the media center with us after the bombs went off. The following is his column, raw, profound and also with the pathos and knowledge that our sport has been irrevocably changed.
