Footwear companies have found strong support from the running community for supporting programs that support cancer awareness, and the program between ASICS America and Christina Applegate is a fine example of such support.
ASICS America has again joined forces with Christina Applegate’s Right Action for Women to launch their second pink collection in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, including the brand’s most popular footwear and apparel items in the signature BCA pink.
After receiving her own breast cancer diagnosis in 2008, Christina Applegate created Right Action for Women to educate women and encourage them to talk to their doctors about appropriate screening. Christina is excited to partner with ASICS for a second year on their BCA collection, and continue the embodiment “sound body, sound mind” mantra through the special pink products.
Available throughout the month of October, the ASICS Right Action for Women Collection will include the new ASICS GT-1000â„¢ 2 PR running sneaker, ASICS The Smugglerâ„¢ Sports Bra, ASICS Pink Ribbon Nimbus Classic LC sock, and for the first time the ASICS GT-1000â„¢ GS 2 PR running sneaker for kids, all in the breast cancer awareness signature pink.
