The women’s high jump at last March’s European Indoor Championships was an amazing performance, the home crowd in Goteborg was rewarded with the silver and bronze medals for Sweden.

GOTHENBURG (SWE): Sweden’s Emma Green Tregaro will take on European indoor and outdoor champion Ruth Beitia of Spain and Croatia’s 2 time World champion Blanka Vlasic in the women’s high jump in Gothenburg on February 15, reports gp.se. This meet will have a special women high jump. When confirmed most probably the season opener for Vlasic, Green will begin at the Moravia High Jump Tour in Czech Republic end of January and Ruth Beitia plans to start in Bordeaux on January 26.
