Athletic Recon pushes the boundaries
with sub 4 minute mile runner, Brandon Bethke.
Costa Mesa, California (March 2014) – Men’s athletic brand Athletic Recon is proud to welcome distance runner Brandon Bethke onto the Athletic Recon team.
Brandon Bethke signs on as Athletic Recon’s premiere professional endurance athlete, joining the ranks alongside Crossfit endurance coach and author, Brian Mackenzie. Brandon’s appointment bolsters Athletic Recon’s foray into the world of professional athletes and establishes the brand as an up and coming player across many disciplines of professional sports.
Reflecting on his own milestone, legendary runner Roger Bannister once said, “More humans have conquered Mt. Everest than have broken the 4-minute mile.” Brandon Bethke ran a 3:57:34. He did this by demanding excellence daily. Bethke placed those same demands on his athletic apparel as he trained towards his elusive sub 4-minute goal. About Brandon Bethke
Brandon is a native to southern California. He focused on running but still participated in every sport he could throughout high school. He then ran professionally in Arizona and then Michigan. He has raced all over the US, NZ and Europe. The highlight of his career is his personal best mile, timed at 3:57:34.
