Due to numerous to-management related matters, we are not in the situation to quickly enough issue proper press release and, kindly, please accept this email as an official quote from Moses Mosop in relation to his 12th place finish and time of 2:20:37 (unofficial) in 2014 Volkswagen Prague Half Marathon:
“My body felt empty from the start. No enough speedwork was done due to an injury and I will have new start after some rest.
One never knows how far one can go after injuries and I was cautious in training and that did cost me 10-12 seconds per kilometer.
The rest was lost in the process of bad race, but I wanted to finish, show respect and thank organizers and people of Prague for their hospitality and support.”
