Bolt ends the season
ZURICH (SUI): The organisers of IAAF Diamond League final Weltklasse of Zurich informed that World record holder Usain Bolt decided to end his season 2014 and will not compete at the famous Letzigrund on August 28. His coach Glen Mills decided after this three competitions to end the season so that he can start early preparations for 2015 with World Championships in Beijing. Next Bolt will travel for sponsorship needs and in October he will start with training for next year. Zurich Meet director Patrick Magyar confirmed his understanding for the decision.
Editor’s note: Whether you are the world’s fastest sprinter, or the world’s best middle distance runner, rest is key to your further well being. Racing at the highest levels just can not go on five, six, seven years without taking time to recover.
While athletes like Usain Botl are ending their season earlier than expected, others are watching their racing very closely.
2014 has already been a very long year already.
The roads to Beijing and Rio are about to begin.
