Emmanuel Mutai ran with Dennis Kimetto until near the very end, never giving up, and ran the second fastest time EVER in the marathon, with his 2:03.13, thirteen seconds under the listed WR for the marathon.

Emmanuel now has world record for second place in the marathon, with his 2:03:13!
