When I first watched Sharon Cherop race, I did not expect to see her up front for long. She won 2012 Boston, and before that, Hamburg and Toronto in 2010, and in 2011, Sharon was the bronze medalist in the World Champs marathon!
Sharon Cherop appears to be running her last decisive stride every stride of the race! It is exhausting just watching the fine athlete run! Yet, Sharon Cherop is a worthy opponent and puts all of her energy into her racing, as her results suggest.
Sharon Cherop is racing BMW Frankfurt this weekend with the focus of getting under 2:22. Her personal best of 2:22.38, comes from BMW Berlin in 2014.
