GAINESVILLE (USA, Apr 3): The Florida Relays on Friday brought World leading marks in six events. Great high hurdles on the men side as Aleec Harris in 13.23 (+0.6) beat two World champions Jason Richardson 13.24 and David Oliver 13.25. Both women sprints produced top results of 2015. In the 100 m TrinidadÂ´s Michell-Lee Ahye 10.97 (-2.5) over Jamaican NCAA Champion Remona Burchell 11.04 and Tiffany Townsend 11.11. In the 200 m first competition of the year for Tori Bowie after injury in second half of the season last year 22.61 (-0.3). Deanna Hill still as junior improved to 22.88 (+1.6) when winning another heat. In the 400 m World leads for Kyra Jefferson and second Shakima Wimbley as both clocked 51.50 (also PBÂ´s for both). Interesting to note in other races hurdler Georganne Moline 52.08 PB and British sprinting talent Desiree Henry 53.13 PB. Chanelle Price with 2:00.62 in the 800 m is also a new World leader, in other race Jamaican Natoya Goule 2:01.63. And another WL for Kendra Harrison in 400 m hurdles 54.94. In the 100 m hurdles Bridgette Owens windy 12.75 (+2.1) over Jamaican Danielle Williams 12.91. In other race Jamaican 400 m hurdles Olympic winner Melaine Walker clocked 13.37 (+0.9) win. Interesting improvement for St. Lucia high jumper Jeanelle Scheper when clearing 195. In other men events Diondre Batson with 10.04 (+0.4) in the 100 m equaled his PB, in other race Bejay Lee 10.09 (+0.3) over Canadian Andre de Grasse 10.11 PB who topped also the 200 m in excellent PB 20.20 (+1.6) ahead of Beejay Lee and Canadian Brendon Rodney tied with 20.27 followed by Dedric Dukes 20.31. Harry Adams won another race in 20.47 over Mike Rodgers 20.63 as Churandy Martina was fourth 20.83. Also to note the 400 m specialist Tony McQuay winning another heat in 20.69 (0.0) ahead of Keston Bledman of Trinidad 21.05 and Luguelin Santos of Dominican Republic 21.07. Najee Glass won the 400 m in 45.11 PB, Brycen Spratling clocked 45.79 in another race. Johnny Dutch posted fast 48.82 at 400 m hurdles ahead of Eric Alejandro of Puerto-Rico 49.23 and former World champion Kerron Clement 49.42. In other race Eric Cray 49.62 new Philippines national record. New PB for US representative Alex Amankwah over 800 m 1:45.91.
