LONDON (GBR): Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill will compete at the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games London Diamond League, which will be held at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on July 24 and 25. It has not yet been announced what event(s) she will compete in. The 29 year old is returning to competition this year after missing 2013 due to an injury and then giving birth in 2014. She plans to make her heptathlon return in Gotzis at the end of May; the Great CityGames Manchester on May 9 is also on her schedule.
(Editor’s note: Jessica Ennis Hill is the 2012 London Olympic champion back from injuries in 2013 and the birth of her baby in 2014. A widely popular athlete with fans and sponsors, Ennis Hill will be competing in Gotzis. RunBlogRun will be in Manchester for the Great City Games on May 9 to see her compete.)
