Chris Miller of Abbott, the global healthcare giant that has now become the title sponsor of the World Marathon Majors, spent some time with the Shoe Addicts discussing some of the programs that Abbott is using to promote their title sponsorship of WMM.
We think that is is very interesting and perceptive of Abbott that they have both the global sponsorship as well as the sponsorships with WMM partners that fit into the local culture.
Their support of fitness programs to control diabetes makes them unique in their healthcare world. We are looking forward to seeing how Abbott uses WMM to promote global fitness and empowering the community to embrace healthy nutrition and exercise as a major way to control health costs.
