Agents Annual Meeting
SAN JUAN (PUR): The Athletes agents organization, AAM held its Annual meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Meetings were very productive and positive. Topics of discussion centered around the future of athletics in general with particular emphasis on the IAAF Diamond League meetings with representatives of the DL meeting organizers. IAAF President Sebastian Coe sent a video message and apologized for not being able to attend this years retreat. He is looking forward to more productive meetings with AAM and AAM input in the future of athletics. Max Siegel, CEO of USATF presented an update on the progress of USATF in the areas of marketing and athlete funding. The AAM has more than 45 member agents who represent a majority of the top athletes in athletics.

Larry Eder has had a 51-year involvement in the sport of athletics. Larry has experienced the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has published several magazines on athletics, from American Athletics to the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun.
