Reposted 15 April, as timing was re posted, and Asbel ran 1:45.2 in semi final!

A. Kiprop 1:44.7-corrected to 1:45.2!
ELDORET (KEN, Apr 14): Last Athletics Kenya track series meet started with superb 1:44.7 in the 800 m by Asbel Kiprop. It shows the top shape of 1500 m World champion who broke the stadium record here. He also equaled the World lead of another Kenyan Jonathan Kitilit. His first top international race of the year is planned for Doha Diamond League on May 6. Fastest in 1500 m heats was Edwin Kiptoo 3:43.3, interesting to see steeple legend Ezekiel Kemboi winning his 1500 m heat in 3:47.7. Best time in 5000 m heats by Emmanuel Kipsang 13:53.8. Other heat winners Nixon Chepseba in 14:29.0, Conseslus Kipruto 13:47.5 and Mathew Kimeli 13:55.0. Informs Kip Evans.

This seems to be incorrect; Renato Canova confirmed his time was actually 1:45.2 and what he shared on Facebook was just when he stopped his watch.

Kiprop also claims to have run 1:44.34 this morning for the second day: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1118046151560913&set=a.234323333266537.62600.100000666156942&type=3&theater

I'd like to know what the FAT split was for that, and more importantly what he'll run tomorrow. Seems pretty crazy either way.
