Yohan Blake is back! He is healthy once again! Yohan Blake will be racing at adidas HQ track in Herzogenaurach, Germany (near Nurnberg) at the adidas BOOST Meeting on May 13-14, 2016 with many of adidas top athletes!

Blake is back 9.95 WL


KINGSTON (JAM, Apr 16): 2011 World champion Yohan Blake is back to fast times. He won the 100 m at MVP meet in National Stadium with World leading 9.95 (+1.4). His fastest since 2012. Behind him personal bests for 200 m specialists Rasheed Dwyer 10.10 and Britain´s Zharnel Hughes 10.10. In another heat Warren Weir clocked 10.07 (+1.6) and is also back as this is his second fastest ever. Behin him 33-years old Michael Frater with decent 10.17. Interesting to see Hassan Said winning his heat in 10.33 (+1.9), national record for Maldives. Antigua´s Miguel Francis posted pretty fast 20.11 (+0.6) in the 200 m with 100 m specialist Oshane Bailey second 20.42 PB and 400 m specialist Javon Francis third 20.54 also PB. Ronald Levy clocked life-time best 13.53 (+0.8) in the 110 m hurdles and Jura Levy won women 100 m in 11.25 (+1.1). In the 200 m Anneisha McLaughlin-Wilby 22.78 (+0.7) ahead of Anastasia Leroy 22.85 PB. Another personal best for Rhonda Whyte 55.58 in the 400 m hurdles. Annsert Whyte won men hurdles 49.39 as 35-years old former 800 m runner Riccardo Cunningham in his second ever race at the distance shaved two more seconds from first race and won his heat in 50.28 PB. Fredrick Dacres won discus 63.88 and Racers TC clocked fast 38.45 in the 4×100 m.
