This is the podcast version of my Conversations with Larry: Thoughts on the adidas BOOST Herzo. The event in Herzogenarauch, Germany, the headquarters of adidas Global debuted on May 13-14, 2016. Three World leaders, with 10,000 meters for men and women, plus 5000 meters for women, were excellent events that drew in most of the fans in the crowd. Capturing the interest of the kids and adults is a big challenge, and the meet did it. The brainchild of Mike McMannus and Spencer Nel, this meet should go on each year forever. A wonderful experience for this writer, and a reaffirmation of adidas place in athletics history for adidas staff.
