Finalists announced
MONACO (MON): The finalists have been revealed for the 2016 IAAF World Athlete of the Year awards. The men’s shortlist is made up of Olympic 100m and 200m champion Usain Bolt, Olympic 400m champion Wayde van Niekerk and Olympic 5000m and 10,000m champion Mo Farah while the women’s shortlist is comprised of Olympic 100m and 200m champion Elaine Thompson, Olympic 10,000m champion Almaz Ayana and Olympic hammer champion Anita Wlodarczyk. The winners will be announced on December 2 at the IAAF Awards Night.
