Thiago Braz will battle Renaud Lavillenie in Rouen, France

ROUEN (FRA): Olympic champion Thiago Braz will go head-to-head with world record-holder Renaud Lavillenie at the Perche Elite Tour in Rouen on Saturday. Braz is in training camp in Spala, Poland since early January. Lavillenie was recently injured and withdrew from early meetings. The line-up also includes reigning world champion Shawn Barber, former world indoor champion Konstadinos Filippidis, World medalist Piotr Lisek of Poland former world junior champion Axel Chapelle and Olympic decathlon silver medallist Kevin Mayer. Olympic silver medallist Sandi Morris is the outstanding favourite in the women’s contest ahead of European silver medallist Lisa Ryzih and world junior record-holder Wilma Murto.
