Peter Ciaccia is the President of Events for the NYRR. He is also the race director for the TCS NYC Marathon. He follows a distinguished line of race directors, from the late Fred Lebow to the late Allen Steinfeld, to Mary Wittenberg, to Peter Ciaccia. In 2017, the NYC Marathon will have a new official footwear and apparel sponsor, New Balance. This is the first year of a ten year agreement. New Balance will sponsor all races under the NYRR imprimatur. It will also partner in their new NYRR Run Center, which is the exciting location for the club members to meet, train, learn and also visit the NB RunHub, the official store partnership between NYRR and NB.
