BOSTON (USA): Former winner Meb Keflezighi has said he sprained his ankle in training in early March and was forced to miss two weeks’ training ahead of the Boston Marathon, informs LetsRun.com. Keflezighi will make his farewell in Boston tomorrow before closing his career in the New York Marathon in November.
RunBlogRun opines: For his most successful marathons, Meb has averaged 5 1/2 to seven weeks of healthy training. How will Meb fare on April 17, 2017? We will have to wait and see. But, remember, Meb does not give up easily.
