The London Marathon Press conferences are always illuminating. The amount of detail that Tim Hutchings gets out of the athletes really ads the the media’s understanding of the events and the clashes that happen on the streets of London.

I was especially interested in Chris Thompson, European silver medalist at 10,000 meters and 5,000 meters in 2010, who has had a very tough three years trying to move up to the marathon. Thomo knew he had a good marathon in him, but the body has fought him many times. We wish him a speedy recover.
