Moving to the next level: Holly Bradshaw, Katerina Stefanidi and Katie Nageotte speak…

This is the second in a series with John Trautmann, the assistant coach for the HOKA ONE ONE NJNYTC, a fine club on the East Coast, providing young American runners a chance to see where they can go, and challenge their own limits. Trautmann knows the travails of the elite athlete, as John was a 1992 Olympian, and a fine high school and college runner. John Trautmann provides some suggestions on how to coach young runners.

The Shoe Addicts did this series with John Trautmann in November at the New York City Marathon. We spoke with John, an assistant coach at the HOKA ONE ONE New Jersey New York Track Club about a variety of subjects focused on coaching high school distance runners. This is part two of the series.
