FRANKFURT (GER): Arne Gabius is aiming to break the 2:10-barrier in the Frankfurt Marathon on 29 October, informs Leichtathletik.de. “I will be in the second group, which will probably cover the half marathon in 64:15 or 64:30. The former would already be in the area of the German record,” he said. “I assume that I can run between 2:08 and 2:10 hours – it would be great if it would be clearly under 2:10 hours.” Gabius hasn’t completed a marathon since Frankfurt two years ago where he set a German record of 2:08:33 due to injuries.
