Twelve will qualify for 2018 European Championships from 2018 Season List for sprints/hurdles

12 will qualify from qualification

BERLIN (GER): European Championships 2018 in Berlin will have the same time table and qualification modus in sprint events as it was in Amsterdam 2016. For 100 m, 200 m, 400 m and 100/110 m Hurdles with 400 m Hurdles men and women top 12 according to 2018 Season List will be directly seeded into semifinals. Rest of the entrants will compete in the qualification round from which best 12 will advance to in total 3 semifinals (with 24 runners). From this top 2 and 2 by times will qualify for the final.
