NEW YORK (USA, Jan 27): At Sander Invitational/Columbia Challenge meet excellent women mile won by Kate Van Buskirk 4:26.92 Canadian record and WL (1500 m split 4:10.06). Four more dipped under 4:30. Rachel Schneider 4:27.30 over Karissa Schweizer 4:27.54 PB, Shannon Osika 4:27.55 PB and another Canadian Gabriela Stafford 4:28.88 PB. In the women 4×200 m US record 1:32.67 by the team Kyra Jefferson, Deajah Stevens, Daina Harper and Asha Ruth. It is also 6th fastest time ever. World medalist Ajee Wilson won the 800 m in 2:00.90 ahead of Jamaican Natoya Goule 2:01.07. In the 3000 m races wins for Lauren Paquette 8:53.09 PB and Reid Buchanan 7:51.98. Craig Engels won the men mile in 3:57.35 PB beating New Zealand´s Julian Oakley 3:57.45. Erik Sowinski won the 800 m in 1:46.98. Courtney Okolo achieved 51.89 in the 400 m beating Shakima Wimbley 52.11. In sprints Cravon Gillespie 6.64 PB and women double for Gabrielle Thomas 7.26 and 23.04. Oregon women got 3:32.92 in the 4×400 m. In triple jump best result 16.92 by Donald Scott and back from Ostrava Ryan Whiting 19.99 shot put.
