MOSCOW (RUS, Feb 4): The traditional Russian Winter indoor meet was highlighted by excellent 486 pole vault clearance by European Champion 2014 Anzhelika Sidorova. It is overall life-time best for her. Second Angelina Krasnova 455. Good quality also in men pole vault, Timur Morgunov achieved 583, he never jumped higher in or out. Valentin Smirnov won the mile in Russian indoor record 3:56.06 ahead of Vladimir Nikitin 3:56.44. World champion Aleksandr Menkov won the long jump with good 808 and also had 807, 803 and 802 in the series. Maksim Afonin won the shot 20.40 and Danil Lysenko with 230 topped the high jump. Second Ilya Ivanyuk also 230 and third Ivan Ukhov 226. In sprints Dmitriy Lopin 6.67 at 60 m, Rudolf Verkhovykh 46.39 in the 400 m and Konstantin Shabanov 7.72 hurdles. Kristina Sivkova clocked 7.28 in women 60 m, Yekaterina Kupina 2:02.42 in the 800 m and Yelena Korobkina 4:09.25 in the 1500 m beating Aleksandra Gulyayeva 4:09.48. Irina Tarasova topped the shot 18.28.
