Warholm 34.26 all-time best in or out
TAMPERE (FIN, Feb 10): World champion Karsten Warholm confirmed his superb shape with 34.26 win at the 300 m Hurdles here at the 300 m oval. More impressive also the fact that he was better than the outdoor World best 34.48 by Chris Rawlinson from 2002 in Sheffield. His last year indoor all-time best was 34.92 from the same meet here, also Llewellyn Herbert from South Africa clocked 34.92 in Tampere in 1999. “One thing was to beat the indoor record, but it was even cooler to beat the outdoor record. That was the one I wanted to beat. It was a nice race and I am very pleased, “he said for Friidrett.no. That was the last indoor race of Warholm in 2018.
