The New Balance Indoor GP is an institution on the indoor circuit. Tickets are selling briskly, but there are a few tickets available so follow the info below and get your tickets now!

BOSTON, Mass. – Reigning IAAF World Champion Emma Coburn and IAAF World Championships silver medalist Jenny Simpson are both set to return to the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, organizers announced today.

Tickets are now on sale at www.nbindoorgrandprix.com or by calling 1-877-849-8722.

The New Balance Indoor Grand Prix kicks off at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center at Roxbury Community College and is the only U.S. stop on the IAAF World Indoor Tour. The series of six international events awards overall tour winners $20,000 and a guaranteed spot at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England.

Coburn, 27, is coming off the best season of her career. This past January at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Coburn ran the opening leg of the world best-setting Women’s Distance Medley Relay squad. In June, Coburn won her sixth US national title in the 3000m Steeplechase and later that summer became the first American to win gold at the IAAF World Championships in the 3000m Steeplechase. Her winning time of 9:02.58 broke her own American Record.

“I’m really excited to come back to Boston as a World Champion,” said Coburn. “The crowd support is always great at the Reggie Lewis Center and the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix has become a second home.”

Coburn will race over the flat 3000 meters in Boston and joining her will be three-time IAAF World Championships medalist Jenny Simpson. Simpson, 31, is also coming off a fantastic 2017 season, which began with a world record in the aforementioned Women’s Distance Medley Relay and was capped off with a silver medal over 1500 meters at the IAAF World Championships in London. Simpson, the IAAF World Champion at 1500 meters in 2011, broke the American Record for two miles at the 2015 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.

Another familiar face returning to Boston this February will be one of Martinez’s training partners, Boris Berian. Berian, 24, burst onto the international track scene in 2015 when he became the fastest American man over 800 meters that year. The following season, Berian became the first American man since David Krummenacker to win gold at 800 meters at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland, Oregon. That summer, Berian was a finalist at 800 meters at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Having missed all of 2017 due to injury, Berian is looking to defend the gold medal he won in Portland.

Now in its 23rd year, the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix has played host to nine World Records and 13 American Records and will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, beginning at 3:45 p.m.
