The women's shot put in Birmingham was full of upsets. Anita Marton took the gold, Danielle Thomas-Dodd, a Jamaican shot putter, took the silver, putting Lijao Gong of China in the bronze position.

Danielle Thomas-Dodd is leading the way for field event woman in Jamaica, particularly shot putters. We spoke to Danielle post competition about the World Indoors, throwing in Jamaica and what her medal means to her country.
