Manuela Schar, is the defending wheelchair champion of the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon. At the 2017 VM London Marathon, Manuela Schar set a new course record, running the fastest women’s wheelchair race in defeating a field missing Tatyana McFadden. McFadden was recovering from blood clots in her legs. In Chicago, McFadden won over Schar, and last week, Tatyana McFadden won Boston in horrific conditions. Let’s see how Schar and McFadden line up in London, could be a fascinating race.
