The Highgate Night of 10,000m PBs is to be held on May 19, 2018. We will not be there in 2018, but the event has grown in stature, and will feature the European Cup 10,000 meters, which should be awesome! Make sure you watch this video and then, watch the race, or if you are in London, go to the race !

This visit to London was fun. It was my second visit to Highgate Harriers amazing night of 10,000m PBs. In 2018, we hope to be there as well, as the Night of 10,000m PBs will feature the European Cup 10,000m a well!
It is fantastic to see that the most original event on the globe, the Highgate Night of 10,000m PBs will incorporate the European cup 10,000m next year. The team with the Highgate Harriers is creative, hard working and loves the sport! We will be there, one way or another! So, re read this piece, toast the Highgate Harriers, and get your butt in gear to run the 10,000m in Highgate!

The HIghgate Harriers Night of 10,000m PBs is a unique event, and it deserves to be copied. The love child of Ben Pochee, Highgate Harriers 10k, and championed by Tom Bedford (PR and presentation), the event is in year 5. Six 10,000 meter races and the finals are British Championships. For U.S. fans, think Payton Jordan crowd doubled, with half of them having had several Micro brews. The crowd was boisterous and enthusiastic. The runners loved it. Andy Vernon was all smiles after his race, and said how much he loved the HIghgate crowd. This year, Seb Coe and Oliver Gers and his lovely wife were there, representing the IAAF. Wendy Sly, 1984 Olympic silver medalist at 3000 meters, and Paula Radcliffe, World record holder at the marathon, were there.
I hope you enjoyed my windy video, but this event was wonderful. And I hope that it is replicated in the U.S.
It is also so fantastic to see European Athletics add the Euro cup 10,000m to this most innovative and fun event! European Athletics is seeding change in the world of continental athletics with such decisions. Nicely done, Highgate Harriers, Highgate 10k organizers, and European Athletics.
