ASABA (NGR): The reigning 100 m African champion Murielle Ahouré has pulled out from the African championships that will be held in Nigeria from August 1-5. Informs Carole Fuchs. The Ivorian sprinter sustained a serious allergic reaction last weekend as she was in London for the Diamond League and returned to her base in the USA to get treatment. She now needs to get some rest and won’t be able to make the trip to Nigeria.
