TAMPA, Fla./LAS VEGAS, Nev. (June 21, 2018) – The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series® announced today an all-new course for the 2018 Rock ‘n’ Roll® Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon which will be held on November 11, 2018. Beginning with an all new start line, the marathon and half marathon will commence in the heart of Las Vegas Blvd. near MGM Grand Las Vegas maintaining the 4:30 p.m. start time. The brand-new start line festival for runners and spectators will be built inside a lot on Harmon Ave. one block east of Planet Hollywood, and the Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series returns to its historical time before the marathon and half marathon.

The course will continue to give participants a one-of-a-kind nighttime running experience by taking them down closed lanes of Las Vegas Blvd. and past iconic Vegas sights. The 10K will begin at 4:00 p.m. at its familiar location on Las Vegas Blvd., outside the Las Vegas Festival Grounds and finishing at the same location as the marathon and half marathon.

A detailed full course map can be found here.

Runners can choose to participate in the “Remix Challenge” and earn a bonus third medal by running in both the 5K on Saturday and any distance on Sunday.

Race weekend also features the Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series with past headliners in Las Vegas including The Goo Goo Dolls, Kid Rock, All-American Rejects and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. In addition to the headliner concert, 20+ live bands and DJs spanning all genres will perform along the race courses entertaining and encouraging runners with more music than ever as they make their way to the finish line.
