Nageotte 480 outdoor PB
BECKUM (GER, Aug 26): US World Indoor 5th placer Katie Nageotte improved her outdoor best to 480 and won the 20th jubilee women pole vault meet here in windy conditions. She cleared that height in third attempt as until then she was losing on count back. Then she tried three times at her overall PB of 492. Second Ninon Guillon-Romarin and third Sandi Morris both achieved 470 and could not get over 480. Fourth was British record holder Holly Bradshaw with 460. Fifth Venezuela´s Rosbeilys Peinado 434 and tie for 6th between Yarisley Silva and Iryna Zhuk both 418. Some 3000 spectators watched the event.
