Day two was magnifiscent. In spit of 100 plus temperatures, Berliners were in the stadium cheering on all of the athletes. Some amazing moments, from Paulina Guba’s last gasp shot put win to the huge throw from Andrius Gudzius to take the gold from Daniel Stahl in the discus. A very pleasing decathlon for the German fans, and a historic 10,000m victory for Isreal, plus the Netherlands Kumins made it over the line, taking the silver as she collapsed. And finally, Greek long jumper MIltadias Tentoglou take the LJ with a leap of 8.25 meters.

All that on our Conversation with Larry. Special thanks to Mike Deering of the Shoe Addicts for working with you know who on getting my audio and photos.
