The RunCzech series features nine fine races. If you want to see some beautiful races in Central Europe, then, check out the RunCzech races! All the info you need is located in the release below.

RunCzech opens registrations for 2019. Expect another jam-packed season.

And here we are. Yesterday the popular running race organisers have launched registrations for 2019! Just as was the case last year, registrations will open according to individual categories with our most loyal runners – PIM Kings and Queens – given the chance to purchase start numbers from today onwards. From tomorrow and the day after registration forms will be gradually accessible for last year’s and this year’s RunCzech Stars. Registration for all runners will open on 23rd September 2018 and continue until full capacity has been reached.

Once again this year the organisers have decided to offer the first round of registrations to those who run RunCzech races on a regular basis. This means PIM Kings and Queens – in other words all those who have completed the Volkswagen Prague Marathon six times or more – will be the first to race for races being held next year. At the stroke of midnight this Thursday, registrations will open to all 2017 and 2018 RunCzech Stars – runners who completed all seven RunCzech main races either last year or this year. Meanwhile 2018 Czech Marathon Club members will be able to register starting from this Friday. “Registrations always open at the stroke of midnight. We have sent an email to each runner to notify them of when they will be able to register. Nothing else is required other than the usual runners are used to: basically all they need to do is log in to their profile on our website on the right day and choose from the events listed for 2019 with open registrations,” explains RunCzech Race Director Václav SkÅ™ivánek. At the stroke of midnight on Sunday 23rd September registrations will open for all runners. It also applies this year that registration fees will be split into three categories with the most favourable rates offered to those who sign up first.

2018 was an exceptional year for RunCzech in a number of ways. This included celebration of the Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon’s twentieth anniversary, welcoming of the millionth runner during the Volkswagen Prague Marathon plus a brand new race concept Liberec Nature Run – which will premiere in just under three weeks’ time and which has already reached capacity.

We can look forward to some great celebrations next year too. The twenty-fifth anniversary of the famous Volkswagen Prague Marathon plus the tenth anniversary of Moravian jewel among RunCzech races – the Mattoni Olomouc Half Marathon. More information available at www.runczech.com

Dates of RunCzech races 2019:

Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon: Saturday, 6th of April
Volkswagen Marathon Weekend: Sunday, 5th of May
Mattoni Karlovy Vary Half Marathon: Sunday, 18th of May
Mattoni České Budějovice Half Marathon: Saturday, 1st of June
Mattoni Olomouc Half Marathon: Saturday, 15th of June
O2 Prague Relay: Tuesday – Thursday, 25th – 27th of June
Birell Prague Grand Prix: Saturday, 7th of September
Mattoni Ústí nad Labem Half Marathon: Saturday, 21st of September
Liberec Nature Run: Saturday, 5th of October

All Runners Are Beautiful.

That is our way of welcoming everyone –and we do mean everyone– to the wonderful world of running. To a world of fitness and fun and friendship. This is an homage to everyone who cares enough about themselves to lace up a pair of running shoes and commit to making themselves a little bit better. That’s what victory is, in our minds. Not winning, necessarily. But doing. And enjoying. “All Runners Are Beautiful” is also a testament to how we feel about running. About the sport itself. It is pure. It is life-restoring. It can be social or meditative. It can be a personal challenge or a slow jog through the woods on an autumn morning. Running is a joy. That’s the message here. And everyone who’s willing to participate in this perfect, beautiful sport –young, old, big, slim, fast, or slow– is welcomed. Is loved. Is beautiful.
