The Skechers Performance LA Marathon was held on March 24, 2019. Starting at the LA Dodger Stadium, and finishing in the archtypal California beach city, Santa Monica. Nearly 25,000 ran in one of the events over the exceptional LA weekend.

Skechers finished its four year run of sponsoring the LA Marathon, a near perfect sponsorship with Manhattan Beach based Skechers sponsoring the iconic marathon.

Conqur Endurance built a wonderul Expo that kept Skechers display booth robustly full the entire weekend. And on top of that, Skechers’ athletes won the men’s event as well. The excitement of Elisha Barnho taking the win in the last 150 meters caught the media’s attention. The wonderful day, the fine performances and the amazing celebration of all things LA kept their attention.

Enjoy our podcast on the Skechers LA Marathon. Special thanks to Conqur Endurance and Skechers, with special thanks to Mike Deering of the Shoe Addicts on his fine production of the podcast.

In closing, I will remind you that the late Fred Lebow said of LAM: It should be the biggest marathon in the world. It is not there, yet, but it is finally, back on the right direction. Check out www.lamarathon.com for the 2020 LAM.
