Semenya in the 800 m
EUGENE (USA): Caster Semenya has been added to the 800m line-up for the Prefontaine Classic which takes place in Stanford on 30 June, informs Super Sport. Semenya had initially entered the 3000m but requested to move to her specialist discipline after the Swiss Federal Tribunal suspended the IAAF classification ruling. “Caster’s representation requested that she be removed from the 3000m to the 800m and we are happy to comply. Indications are she will be going for a fast time,” said meeting director Tom Jordan.
