Nike Talks Track: Rosa Associati brings 20 to Doha, takes first medal of Doha WC!

Rosa & Associates, one of the more global athletic athletic representation team, headed by Federico Rosa, is taking 20 athletes to the 2019 IAAF Outdoor Athletic Championships. They began in winning style with Ruth Chepngetich taking the marathon in 2:32.43.

Some fine athletes are in ther group:

Men:

Arthur Cisse, 100m sprinter from C’ote Ivoire, who should be on the podium some day.

Nigel Amos, fastest 800m in world, 1:41.73 WL, Olympic silver medalist, what can he do?

Paul Lonyangata, 2:06.10 marathon PB, 27:21 for 10,000m, 13:08 for 5000m, can he medal in the marathon?

Geremew Mosinet, ETH, winner, 2018 Dubai Marathon, 2nd, 2018 Chicago, a great finish, can he affect Doha?

Yasmin Copello, TUR, Euro Champ, Euro silver, 47.91 PB, moved into seond round with 5th in the 5th heat on 9/27/19 at WC Doha.

Thiago Braz Da Sliva, can he defend his PV title? Thiago won in Rio 2016!

Women:

Marie Jose Ta Lou-won 2 medals, both silvers in 2017 London, silver at World Indoors, and gold and bronze at recent Africa Games, she looks tough in Doha!

Ivet Lalova, at 35, one of globe’s most enduring at 100m/200m, gold, silver medalist at Euro Outdoors, gold at Euro Indoors. What can she do here?

Ruth Chepnegetich, Kenya, won first medal of the championships, in the marathon!

Yarislay Silva, Cuba, moved to final of PV, former World Champion, extremely capable.

Alessia Trost, ITA, bronze medalist in 2018 World Indoor HJ, cleared 1.92m, did not move to final
