European Athletics has had a fine year. The convention helps celebrate the amazing year of 2019 and look to the year of 2020.
EA Convention in Tallinn
TALLINN (EST): The traditional autumn gathering of European athletics officials will take place this week in Tallinn, Estonia. European Athletics Convention will climax on Saturday with the Golden Tracks, where the best European athletes of 2019 will be announced. Presenters will be Briton Andy Kay and Estonian long jump star Ksenija Balta. Participants from all 50 European national federations are expected (and also some guests from overseas), they will prepare the Calendar for Olympic season 2020 and also take part in different workshops. For example about IAAF World Rankings, National Programmes for kids, DNA concept, Global Competition Calendar among others. Also special groups like Nordic Countries, Small Countries and Euromeetings will stage their annual meetings.
