NEW YORK (USA): World 800m champion Donovan Brazier, who will compete in the Millrose Games tomorrow, says he is expecting to feel under more pressure in Olympic year. “It’s definitely a lot of pressure,” Brazier told Forbes.com. “We have world championships every couple of years, but I think everybody really only pays attention to the Olympics. You never know for the Olympics Trials. It’s just a cutthroat, top-three make it. You just have to be ready on that one day.”
NEW YORK (USA): World 400m hurdles champion Rai Benjamin is looking forward to a non-pressurised race over 300m at the Millrose Games tomorrow. “It’s just kind of a good meet to go to to get in one race to break up practice,” he told eu.lohud.com. “My goal is to have a good race and be entertaining and run fast — whatever I run… My goal is not necessarily to run some particular time. It’s to be here, soak up the moment and inspire some other high school kid to believe they can make the stage someday.”
