Jan Volko was the 2019 European Athletics indoor gold medalist at 60m, and the silver medalst in the 2017 European Athletics indoor championships.

OLOMOUC (CZE, Jun 27): Olomouc Grand Prix meet had Slovak Jan Volko beating top Czechs. In the 100 m (memorial event) 10.43 (-1.4) over Jan Veleba 10.45 and in the 200 m 20.96 (-2.7) beating Zdenek Stromsik 21.13. Marek Bahnik cleared 220, Bara Sajdokova 189 in the high jump. PolandÂ´s Mateusz Jopek improved to 795 (+1.7) in the long jump. Tomas Stanek won shot 19.87 with women winner Marketa Cervenkova improving to 18.22. Season opener for Irena Gillarova (formerly Sediva) exactly 60.00 m in javelin.
