This is the second focus of the series, Socialing the Distance. Our featured athlete is ultra runner Mario Mendoza. We spoke with Mario, just a few days after his new World Treadmill record for the 100k, in 6 hours, 39 minutes, 26 seconds. A 6:26 mile pace for 62.2 miles. Mario is one of the finest trail runners in the U.S. . You can lean moe about Maio at http://mendozarunner.com. Think about this: Mario has had 15 top 3 podium finishes at USATF Trail Championships from the 10k to the 100 miles!

Mario Mendoza was a fascinating interview! This epilogue gives the viewer a good idea on the highlights of my time with Mario Mendoza.

Special thanks to Adam Johnson-Eder on managing the recording, and Mike Deering on producing the clips, and final production.
