LAUSANNE (SUI): US pole vaulter with 595 PB Chris Nilsen is the last minute entry for the special Athletissima DL Pole vault on Wednesday on the shores of Lake Geneva. “Mondo Duplantis will be the favourite, I give him a 70% chance of winning. My compatriots (Nilsen, Cole Walsh) and I are also there to put on a show,” said Sam Kendricks before the competition. Kendricks’ manager, former champion Jeff Hartwig: “It’s the best pole vault competition of the year. With Lavillenie and Lisek again, all the best will be there.
