DETROIT (USA): Britain’s American-born Cindy Ofili married John Sember in March and will compete next year as Cindy Sember. The Olympic fourth placer in the 100m hurdles ran 12.88 this year, her best being 12.60 in 2015. Based in Michigan, she is coached by her brother-in-law Jeff Porter, and plans an indoor season. Elder sister Tiffany Porter holds the family (not to mention UK) record with 12.51 but Cindy has much the superior flat speed: 11.39 and 23.46 to 11.70 and 23.90. From Athletics International.
