Lavillenie wants to compete at both indoor championships

CLERMONT (FRA): Olympic winner and former pole vault World record holder Renaud Lavillenie plans for both indoor top championships in Torun and Nanjing against the instruction of the French Federation. Informs LÂ´Equipe. “I am getting ready to go for both because it is an important opportunity to go against the best before the Games. They said that because of the 14-day quarantine for China. We hope that by then it can evolve, but I am ready to leave the day after Torun if necessary,” said Lavillenie who is currently in good training for the indoor season. French Federation said earlier it would be not possible for French athletes to compete in both Torun and Nanjing but only in one of the two. In December he plans 2 weeks training camp at La Reunion and in the indoor season the schedule contains Bordeaux on January 16, Nevers (January 23), Karlsruhe (January 29), Rouen (February 6), the French Championships (February 20-21 in Miramas), the All Star Perche in Clermont (February 27) and both top championships.
