Malaika Mihambo is the 2018 European champion outdoors and the 2019 World Champion at the long jump. Immensely popular in Germany, Malaika is taking a zen athlete approach, just working on being a better jumper, not worried about whether the Olympics happen next year.

OFTERSHEIM (GER): Wd long jump champion Malaika Mihambo is still training with national coach Uli Knapp ahead of the 2021 season. On the possibility of the Olympic Games next year not taking place, Mihambo said: “I try not to get so close to things that I cannot control and that I have very little influence on.”
