TOKYO (JPN): As Japan prepares to host this year’s Olympics, Japanese prime minister Yoshihide Suga has declared a state of emergency in Tokyo, insidethegames.biz reports. It comes as Tokyo recorded a record daily rise in new coronavirus cases. Meanwhile, the planned national vaccination programme in the Tokyo 2020 host country has been dealt a blow with news that the Moderna jab will not be approved for use in Japan until May at the earliest, Reuters reports.
