Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who leaped 2.06m recently, cleared 2 meters once again, at the Ukrainian Indoor Championships. EME news updated on the Ukrainian Championships today.

SUMY (UKR, Feb 11): Yaroslava Mahuchikh cleared 2.00m on the second day of the Ukrainian Indoor Championships before three close attempts at 2.05m. Yuliya Levchenko and Iryna Herashchenko were second and third with 1.96m and 1.94m respectively. Andriy Protsenko cleared 2.28m to win the men’s high jump title but only on countback from 19-year-old Oleh Doroshchuk. Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk set a season’s best of 6.70m in the long jump and Vladyslav Mazur won the men’s long jump with a PB of 8.07m. Former world heptathlon champion Hanna Kasyanova won the pentathlon title with 4434 points from Alina Shukh (4412 points) and husband Oleksiy Kasyanov won the heptathlon title with 5756 points. On the track European 400m hurdles bronze medallist Hanna Ryzhykova won the 400m title in a 52.57 PB from Anastasiya Bryzhina in 52.87.
