The 2021 NB Indoor GP was held on Staten Island at the Ocean Breeze AC. Eight world leads and nine meet records were set on the new MONDO 200m hydraulic track.

My favorite events?

1. The women’s 400m-Shaunae Miller Uibo went 50.21, quickest 400m in 14 years.

2. The men’s 1,500m had PBs in top six places, with Olie Hoare setting a new Aussie record at 3:32.35!

3. The men’s 400m pitted Mike Norman and Rai Benjamin, who battled the whole way, 45.35 to 45.39 PB, with Norman getting the nod.

4. The men’s 800m showed Donavan Brazier pushing himself down the last 150m, setting a national record at 800m in 1:44.21.

5. Bryce Hoppel went 2:16.27, a new national record, pushing himself.

6. An amazing women’s 2 mile, with Elle Purrier setting national record, 9:10.28, with Emma Coburn, 9:15.71 PB.

7. Kayla White won the 60m in 7.15 PB, with Hannah Cunnlife, 7.17 SB and Candice Hill, 7.19.

8. A big 60m win by Trayvon Brommel in 6.50!

9. The 60m hurdles showed Keni Harrison in amazing shape, opening at 7.84 WL.
