Well, good for Caster Semenya. Give her 3-5 more 5000m, and she has a good shot at 15:10.00, depending on fitness.
Milers have to build fitness to handle 12.5 laps. If Caster gets to 15:10.00, it will be quite exciting.
We shall watch this spring to see how she competes.

PRETORIA (RSA): Addition from last weekend revealed that Caster Semenya was running a 5000 m at the Gauteng North Provincial Senior & U20 Championships. The runner shown as Mokgadi Semenya in 2nd place in the 5000m (16:14.43) was actually she, as her proper name is Mokgadi Caster Semenya. As South African sources said for RRW, she aims to attack the Olympic standard in the 5000 m (15:10.00).
